I love my job for two reasons. I am inspired by peoples’ physical aspirations and I want to help them succeed. As an avid cyclist, sporadic ultra-distance runner, rock climber and a crazy-year-in-college ballet student, I continually make my body do some hard work. All that effort has taught me a lot about the human body and athletic mindset. I utilize those experiences alongside my training to create fully-rounded therapeutic treatments.
I received my education from the London School of Sports Massage in the UK and obtained a BTEC Level 5 diploma in Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy & Sports Massage Therapy under Mel Cash, a leading authority on the subject. I work extensively with dancers and cyclists and am also happy and able to treat any person with musculoskeletal discomfort.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a structural engineer in the United States and lived in Chicago and Los Angeles. I now live in Rotterdam with my wife Kalin, who is a professional contemporary dancer. We feel so welcomed by the city and are excited to be living in the Netherlands for the foreseeable future.
